Wednesday brunch because why not? Asparagus, Swiss cheese, and scrambled egg-filled crêpe at Jack’s Family Restaurant.
-
Saturday brunch Benedict eaten while watching the snow fall and cursing myself for not bringing warmer outerwear. (at Jack’s Family Restaurant)

Mmmm… I miss last weekend.

Finally posting last weekend’s brunchables. On Saturday, we had tortillas from St. Jacobs filled with scrambled eggs, feta, pesto, and red pepper flakes. On Sunday, the Mister wanted a greasy diner breakfast so I made a mushroom, red onion, and Tofurky deli slices scramble topped with cheddar, and some onion-y home fries.

Yesterday’s his and hers brunch burgers. Avocado, lettuce, fried egg, cheddar, red onion, soy patty, and hot sauce. Dang.

Weekend life. Yep, I’m in love with Hollandaise.
-
The Mister and I had the most amazing Sunday brunch with the best home fries, cooked to perfection bacon for him, and enough Hollandaise to cure my craving. I like to refer to this as Naked Eggs Benedict—no ham or peameal bacon but with tomatoes on the side.

Brunch with Mom and the Mister: crustless quiche with tomatoes from Mom’s garden, feta, scallions, basil, and oregano.
Probably need to fill that fruit plate with fruit.
