Had my family’s Thanksgiving on Saturday. The Mister and I shared (yet another) pumpkin ale before we headed to dinner. This one came from Great Lakes Brewery. It was good and all but still not as good as Pumking. I think I just really like my pumpkin beers tasting like pumpkin pie? Mom made turkey, her famous ham, the best mashed potatoes, and assorted vegetable tempura (baller alert). For the non-meat eaters, there was Gardein “chicken” fingers with mushroom gravy. I made Brussels sprouts salad with Grana, toasted almonds, garlic, scallions, and Dijon mustard dressing.
